HELICALLY BAFFLED HEAT EXCHANGERS
OF HELIXCHANGER TYPE

Helically baffled exchangers are the latest in shell & tube exchanger arrangement, in which baffles are put along the screw line. Each baffle segment occupies about one quadrant of the cross section. Such a construction create a medium continuous pluq-flow in the intertube space.

 HELIXCHANGERS' applications are in refineries, petrochemical and power industry as well as in the offshore platforms.

Such exchangers are best used for services, in which the heat transfer coefficient plays a determining role or pressure drop or fouling reduction are of importance.
